Online Event Coverage

We have experience in online event coverage having documented the international iSummitsheld in Brazil in 2006, Croatia in 2007 and Japan in 2008. We offer packages that effectively integrate multimedia footage from the event, using social media platforms to both gather documentation from participants, and share the outcomes of the event with those who could not attend.


We are developing training curriculum’s for a variety of audiences focusing on the use of social media for collaboration and communication.


Part of the Local Context Global Commons project, iHeritage aims to get our shared South African heritage digitised and freely available online. This will be achieved through research on the challenges of copyright digitisation and access in South Africa, training in community-building for heritage organisations and seminars to get players in the field sharing their experiences.

With the advent of accessible broadband on the horizon, South African heritage institutions will need to start rethinking how they house, digitise and make online heritage available, and the African Commons Project proposes a project that will aid in the development of these critical policies.
